Just thought I'd share my experiences too Smile
My first tattoo was nearly 10 years ago, scabbed up horribly and I was using savlon. It's worth noting that how your tattoo scabs up can also depend on how "deep" the artist went. I've just had my second one done, last Sunday, and it's already all healed!
This time I used Bepanthen, but I also used Johnson's Baby Soap to wash it twice a day, which has honey in it which is a natural antiseptic - outcome : brilliant tattoo, still very colourful, mega quick healing time and one happy me :) Clap

Best stuff ever... use it all the time, in fact when I got my latest tattoo by Ely, it was coloured in on friday and finished off on wednesday as it had healed so well.... I wash it, then  put a thin layer on, cover it with cling film, repeat the process the following morn and following nite, then for 3 days just keep washing it and putting a thin layer of cream on, no scabbing, itchin and healed within a week...... perfect.
